2019 Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Samples

Welcome! I'm back with some fresh and new ideas for the upcoming 2019 Occasions Catalog and the 2019 Sale-a-bration (SAB) brochure.

The 2019 Occasions Catalog will go live on January 3rd and go thru June 3rd.

The 2019 Sale-a-bration event and brochure will go live on January 3rd and go thru March 31st.

What's Sale-a-bration, you may ask?
It is Stampin' UP's most popular sales time of the year. When you Spend $50 (before tax and shipping), you choose a FREE product from the brochure! There’s no limit—for every $50 you spend, choose another FREE product! You can earn even bigger rewards when you spend $100 (before tax and shipping).

I had a wonderful gathering with my upline, Denise Sullivan's group, Go Stamp It! We ate, we drank, we swapped, and we giggled!
Every single sample you see below uses products from the 2019 Occasions catalog and SAB brochure.

This lovely unicorn treat was created by Mary Gardina and she used the How Sweet It Is Suite from the Occasions Catalog.

This sweet and simple note card was created by Julie Piel and features the Gingham Gala designer paper.

This whimsical butterfly card was created by Theresa Shattuck and features the Beauty Abounds stamp set & dies.

This soft & spring-like card was created by Michele Tate and features the Incredible Like You stamp set.

This sweet valentine card was created by Caren Curtis and features the All My Love designer paper and the Be Mine stitched framelits.

This cute & simple note card was created by Denise Sullivan and features the Butterfly Gala stamp set along with the Gingham Gala designer paper.

This colorful and fun note card was created by Dawn Smith and features the Butterfly Duet Punch & the Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets (from the 2019 Sale-a-bration brochure).

This card was created by me and features the All my Love designer paper and the Meant To Be stamp and die bundle. I absolutely love the dies! they have become one of my favorites.

JOY Luminaire

I had a blast today with some fellow Stampin' UP! demonstrators at my upline's team meeting! We cannot have a team meeting unless we do swaps...feels like Christmas every time!

For my swap creation I decided to make a 3D project this time around instead of a card.
This is what I call the JOY luminaire.

All four sides of the luminaire are the same.
This did take some time to create and put together but I'm pretty happy with the outcome.
Feel free to download the pdf of my tutorial on the Tutorials and Cheat Sheets tab at the top of this page.

If you have any questions contact me by clicking on my "e-mail me" icon at the top of this page.

Until next time...

2018-2019 Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog

My deepest apologies for the lateness of my post. As you may already know, time flies!

I have been very impressed by this year's Stampin' UP! Annual Catalog. I continue to be IN LOVE with all the products contained within the catalog!

Here are the TOP 10 PRODUCTS that I recommend to you (this is very hard to keep it to just 10)!
  1. Simply Shammy on page 206 - The reusable stamp cleaning mat is simply awesome! You can store it in a clear mount case.

  1. Stamparatus on page 207 - this is a must-have tool for all! You can perfectly align stamp images and stamp multiple times quickly and precisely.

  1. Stampin' Blends on page 205 - These are alcohol-based dual-tip markers that blend like a champ! Gotta have ALL of these, but PLEASE keep in mind that the "new" colors are not available until mid-month.

  1. In Color collections on page 183 - These colors are trendy and fun! I recommend getting the whole collection: stampin' pads, stampin' write markers, cardstock, and ribbon.

  1. Share What You Love Suite on page 177 - Every single product in that suite is absolutely stunning!

  1. Picked For You on page 171 - I personally have many teacher-friends and will definitely be using this stamp set to create some fun teacher gifts.

  1. Tranquil Textures Suite on page 155 - I love this suite because of the textures and colors used in it. Can't wait to play with it.

  1. Nature's Poem Suite on page 143 - Same as the other suites, I love the textures and colors....especially that twine!

  1. Itty Bitty Greetings on page 46 - This stamp set takes place of Teeny Tiny Wishes and it's pretty awesome with all the different fonts and occasions.
  1. Varied Vases on page 45 - There is so much versatility in this stamp set and when you pair it with the coordinating punch, it's the best!

I'd also love to share with you a document I created for all the designer paper in the catalog. I like to print it out and use it when I work on projects for a quick reference.

I hope you've been enjoying the new products and catalog! If you haven't received your very own copy of the catalog, please contact your local demonstrator. If you don't have a demonstrator, I'd love to help you in any way I can and provide you with your copy of the catalog.

Until next time...

2018 Graduation Money Holder

After taking a long hard look at the new Around the Corner stamp set as shown below from the Stampin' UP! 2018-2019 Annual Catalog (coming June 1st), it finally hit me....
I have a young brother graduating from High School this year and I could use this stamp set to create a little something for him.

AROUND THE CORNER stamp set (coming June 1st)

I used a favorite returning color...mint macaroon as my main color and added some crumb cake and some night of navy. I used the popular eclipse technique on this project too. I love it!!!

I'm sure if I stuff this pocket with as many 20's as I can fit on there, my brother will be happy!

TIPS
  • use the eclipse technique: stamp the cardstock to add a background, cut out the letters you desire, adhere the letters back in place of the cutout using dimensionals. Be sure to keep ALL the pieces you cut out. There's lots of videos and tutorials on Pinterest or Youtube you can view.
  • to create the pocket, I used a piece of crumb cake cardstock and cut it to 7 1/4"x7 1/4" then scored it at 1/2" then at 3 7/8". the overall size after you fold it is 3 3/8"x 7 1/4".
  • the inside crumb cake piece measures 3 1/4"x 6 3/4".

 SUPPLIES USED
INKS
  • mint macaroon
  • night of navy
PAPER
  • mint macaroon cardstock
  • crumb cake cardstock
  • whisper white cardstock
STAMPS
  • Around the Corner
  • Sunshine Sayings
  • Alphabet rotary stamp (retired)
TOOLS
  • Big Shot
  • Large Letters framelits
RIBBON
  • 1/4" copper trim

I can't wait to share some more new catalog projects and items with you as we approach the Catalog release on June 1st. Contact your local demonstrator if you'd like to receive a new catalog. Otherwise, I'd be happy to provide you one. Please e-mail me at the e-mail link on the top right of this page.

Also, be sure to check out the Retiring List and Clearance Rack and grab your favorites before they're gone.

Until next time...
